The purpose of this, i hope, is that it will illustrate how people , with no restriction of partisan identification, 2 viable candidates and charter questions that got to to ideological cores of city planning matters. While it’s easy to assume people would vote yes by default on some stuff , it is worth noting that there were six ballot questions, and they were not treated equally. Questions 1 and 6 failed. Questions 2, 3, and 4, the housing measures, passed overwhelmingly. Voters were discerning, not disengaged.

The rankings can be viewed citywide or by borough. The ranges are Citywide 1–59, Brooklyn 1–18, Queens 1–14, Manhattan 1–12, Bronx 1–12, and Staten Island 1–3.

The winner-margin legend uses plain labels and rounded intervals so the scale reads clearly at a glance.
