Where this precinct sits against community district lines
Community district
Share of the precinct
Precinct and community district lines are drawn by different agencies and do not line up.
Read each row twice. The first figure is how much of the Central Park Precinct sits inside that district. The second is how much of that district this precinct covers.
Every number elsewhere on this page is cut to the precinct boundary, so it includes everything the precinct patrols regardless of which district it falls in.
For figures cut to a district instead, open the district page.

How to read this
Parking tickets carry no coordinates, so the city publishes them by precinct only. These figures are for the whole precinct and cannot be split by community district or patrol sector. Camera violations such as school zone speed and bus lane are issued without a precinct and are not counted here. Ticket counts come from the Fiscal Year 2026 file. Dollar figures come from the Open Parking and Camera Violations file and cover every year on record.
Counts are reported NYPD complaints, arrests, and shooting incidents from NYC Open Data, each placed by its own coordinates inside the precinct boundary. A complaint is a report, not a conviction. Counts are raw and not adjusted for population. Built by Mike Racioppo, District Manager, Brooklyn Community Board 6. Public safety hub →
