The Bronx Community District 1

The Bronx Community District 1 encompasses Melrose, Mott Haven, Port Morris, and The Hub. Covering 2.77 square miles and home to roughly 91,000 residents, it sits in the South Bronx at the borough's southern gateway.

Melrose, Mott Haven, Port Morris, and The Hub include industrial areas, public housing, new residential development, major commercial activity, and transit connections to Manhattan and the rest of the Bronx.
