Bike Lane Process:

DOT presentation last month – We saw it as an “informational meeting” and wanted to then have a public hearing at a later date. DOT said that this was never an experiment – Bike Lanes will stay.

Is there any point to having a public hearing?

Our hearing should focus on an open issue: 1. Changes to the bike lane.

2. Other changes? 3. No changes

Expectation of outcome needs to be controlled. City Council bill to set guidelines for further bike lane installations: - Bike lanes on 14th and 15th Streets will be proposed next week. We should reach out to Community Board 7.

Discussion of holding community session earlier at the General Board Meeting.

There being no further business to come before the committee, the meeting was adjourned.
