MINUTES
Waterfront/Community Development Committee Chair Richard Bashner reports that our District Manager reached out to tonight’s guest, who had been confirmed for tonight’s meeting, but she was attending the Gowanus Community Advisory Group meeting instead and had forgotten about her commitment to us. In lieu of the advertized agenda, the committee discussed: * Plan to invite representatives from major employers that received CB6 approvals (Ikea, Fairway, Cruise Ship Terminal, Phoenix) in order to present updates on employment and community benefits, and * Plan to tour NYCHA developments in preparation for meeting with NYCHA Chairman.
