Review and discussion of Brooklyn CB6 response to the EPA's Gowanus Canal Superfund Site's proposed remedial action plan as released in December 2012.

Glenn questioned where the technical comments are coming from?

Craig Hammerman based them on prior discussions at the committee level, plus additional meetings and discussions with an assortment of government and other entities.

Bette Stoltz objected to 2nd comment on page 3 regarding the TAG grant.

Craig explained that the CB6 application was not responded to and the TAG grant did not contribute to our understanding of the PRAP (proposed remedial action plan) and help CB6 with its response.

Mark Shames suggests a milder version to express CB6’s desire for more information without complaint.

Discussion of the comment language continued at length.

Hildegaard Link moved to approve the document with the amended language – Gary Reilly seconded.
