Presentation and review of a new on-premises liquor license application submitted to the State Liquor Authority on behalf of T Burger Dos LLC at 234 Flatbush Avenue (between Bergen Street/6th Avenue).
There were five members of the committee present. This was not a quorum. The committee could only make a recommendation. This is a burger restaurant that has had a wine license since 2012. Pauline and Mark commented that it has not been a problem location. No out-door space.
Mark Made a recommendation to approve as presented seconded by Pauline and it passed 5 to 0.
Presentation and review of a new on-premises liquor license application submitted to the State Liquor Authority on behalf of El Pollito Mexicano, Inc. at 119 5th Avenue (between Sterling Place/Saint Johns Place).
The applicant failed to give proper notice having stated that the meeting would take place on Pacific Street.
A recommendation to table, asking the applicant not to proceed with the SLA and asking the district office to inform SLA of our request that it not proceed was put forward by Pauline and seconded by Mark. The recommendation passed 5 to 0.
Presentation and review of a new on-premises liquor license application submitted to the State Liquor Authority on behalf of Seabring Beverage LLC at 17 Seabring Street (between Richards Street/Columbia Streets).
This is a restaurant and café at the hotel at 17 Seabring Street. There is outside space but it is not outside the footprint of the premises and is not a sidewalk café or typical “back yard” space. The applicant asked to amend its application to extend its outdoor hours to the committees recommended closing hours of 11 PM during the week and 12 on weekends. A recommendation was made by Lance and seconded by Pauline that the application be accepted as presented except that the closing hours for the outside space be amended to 11 PM on weekdays and 12 midnight on Friday and Saturday nights.
The recommendation passed 5 to 0.
