Chairperson Eric McClure called the meeting to order at 6:41 P.M.

The meeting started with explaining that we, as a community board do not site shelters and while that is the case we support fair share sighting of shelters. The crowd that had shown up to voice their opposition to a shelter at Bond & 3rd Street made clear they did not care whether or not we reviewed such projects. Mike Racioppo & Eric McClure share information about how to contact the shelter operator with questions while Mike made clear most of the rherotic he’d heard at the meeting and via calls and email had been outright racist. After this was made clear the crowd left and the meeting went into the agenda.

II.COMMITTEE REPORTS:

A. Permits & Licenses Mandi Spishak-Thomaspresented the following locations to be to be approved for on-premises • 149 7th Street • 44 & 46 Dwight Street B. Land Use

• 341 10th Street- Conditionally disapproved*. -ULURP application to rezone to allow reduction of parking requirements, building two buildings for commercial, community, and residential uses. * What the conditional disapproval translates to is that we approve of the plans presented, which would build hundreds of deeply affordable family and senior housing units, but due to community concerns that we as a board shared about the history of the developer, we insist that this rezoning be tethered to an ironclad Community Benefits Agreement (CBA). A CBA that protects the interest of current tenants and ensures the number of, and the permanent affordability of, new units covered by HPD programs and existing units. • 41 Richards Street - Approved. ULURP application to rezone for a 7-story mixed-use development allowing for light manufacturing, commercial office space, and ground-floor retail uses. C. Landmarks 467 Hicks Street (Cobble Hill Historic District) - Approved. Certificate of Appropriateness application to allow for a rear yard extension. • 701 8th Avenue (Park Slope Historic District) - Approved. Certificate of Appropriateness application to allow for a rooftop playground at Saint Saviour Catholic Academy.

D. Parks & Recreation- Marc torrence presented NYC Parks department plans for Boerum Park. The board voted unanimously to approve the plans.

After committee reports the board heard from elected representatives. Following that a member of the community spoke in a theatrical manner about how they opposed the sheltering of migrants. Board leadership made clear that they did not share such sentiments.

Meeting adjourned at 9:17 pm
