New business

There was discussion of the 9th street bike lane implementation and DOT’s slow progress on it vs. what was promised. Board members asked that we reach out to DOT for a progress update, and request a follow up meeting as asked for in our motion to discuss safety measures further west on 9th St. Concerns were also raised by members of the public on the half-finished state of the bike lane causing confusion for people on bikes and in trucks on that route. There was also discussion of unsafe conditions on Court St. and Smith St. Board members discussed recommending safety measures for those streets and other major corridors in the district at future meetings. Meeting adjourned
