Says commercial vehicles are parking on side streets. He owns a bike but thinks the dedicated bike lane wasn’t necessary and thinks it’ll cause harm Diane lived in London and benefited from low traffic neighborhoods. People don’t love safety measures but she is here in support of them. Relieved that she is safe from double parked cars and is excited to see a protected bike lane. Encouraged and grateful that streets serve everyone. The changes are still underway, change is hard but we have to adapt for greater good. Jonathan Romano. Concerned about the bike lane. Sees good intentions but thinks adverse effects outweigh. Emergency vehicles and police cars, says it’s unsafe from cars and cyclists and he is avoiding Court St on foot with daughter Andrea Romeo, business owner on Court St, said the street is much noisier and that parking has been removed above what DOT said. Seems disingenuous that DOT reached out to 200 merchants. Told she should wait until it’s done but isn’t feeling good. Frank Cuomo says CB6 isn’t representing the historic residents Angela Salutio, noted that car speeding was mentioned but not bike speeding, asked if she has to start looking both ways. Saw fire engine stuck in traffic and feels the new bike lane is just for Door Dash and Amazon, not residents. DOT made the street ugly by adding (daylighting) boulders. Feel disrespected and asked where the board members live. Amanda Nichols from CHA, two events coming up: 11/20 annual meeting to discuss parades and work plus BMT to present on DSOW at Christ Church. 11/22 fall spring maintenance, and partnering with D39 cleanup crew

End of meeting.
