I hope this email finds that you had a great Thanksgiving and that it started an equally great holiday season.

I hope this email finds that you had a great Thanksgiving and that it started an equally great holiday season.

Moving on to a few quick reminders.

First, please don’t forget that today, Friday, November 29th, Alternate Side Parking, and parking meters are in effect .

Second, tomorrow, Saturday, November 30th is “ Small Business Saturday . ” One way to get in the spirit of supporting small businesses, right here in our district, is by attending the  5th Avenue BID's   tree lighting , on Saturday November 30th , from 4 until 6 PM, at  5th Avenue and 4th Street.

Lastly, but by no means least, on Monday, December 2nd, our Economic /Waterfront /Community Development Committee (EWCDH) meets at P.S 32 beginning at 6:30 PM. At this meeting the Department of City Planning (DCP) and Housing, Preservation, and Development (HPD) will be presenting an  update on the Public Place  /  Gowanus Green site. If the future of Gowanus interests you, we hope you can attend.

Enjoy the rest of the holiday weekend and, as always, feel free to share  this information  however you’d like.

P.S If you were concerned that a Friday email wouldn’t include DOT’s Traffic Advisory or MTA “Weekender,” worry no more.

Best,
Mike Racioppo, District Manager
