Also approaching is tomorrow’s Parks Committee meeting , which will be held at PS. 58 , starting at 6:30 PM and focusing on the Carroll Park Redesign . The new decade is only a few weeks away, so you may want to mark your calendars now for our next General Board meeting which will take place Wednesday, January 8th, 2020.

Before moving to the hip new trend of clicking on flyers below, it could be a good idea to check out the  Public Advocate's worst landlord list  with the number 1 ranking belonging to  The City of New York/ The New York City Housing Authority(NYCHA ) . This ranking only reinforces why we, BKCB6, demand guaranteed improvements to NYCHA as part of the pending rezoning of Gowanus.

Also, as we've said, the future of the IBZ must be secured to offset any loss of M zone space  in the rezoning as well as corresponding improvements for school space, transportation, and affordability.  Click here to see our letters to the Department of City Planning concerning these matters. We're still welcoming comments regarding Public Place/ Gowanus Green and appreciate everyone who already taken us up on this offer.

Have a great evening, as always, feel free to share  this  information  however you’d like, and if you want me to include a community-centric happening in a future update, please reach out .

Best,
Mike Racioppo, District Manager
