I hope this email finds you well as we head into the weekend and to all celebrating a happy Lunar New Year!
As previewed in prior updates, last night was our January Landmarks/Land Use meeting, which featured our Board Chairman's presence for a presentation from 32B J relating to a discussion of our responsible development policy and applications for Certificates of Appropriateness( C of A).
The committee approved the C of A for 895 Union Street but disapproved of 187 Amity Street’s application. The next step for both of these items is to be voted on by the full board at our Wednesday, February 12th General Board meeting which will take place at NYP Brooklyn Methodist Hospital beginning at 6:30 PM.
Before that, our community will have lots of stuff going on, including 2 CB6 committees meeting next week- EWCDH on Monday, January 27 th and Transportation on Thursday, January 30 th . There are, of course, things happening and items of interest, beyond CB6’s direct orbit, and you’ll find out about some of them by continuing to read this email.
Have a great weekend, and feel free to share this information however you'd like.
