I hope this email finds you as well as can be as we head into the final days of May and plan to start " reopening " on June 8 th . No matter what you're paying attention to, unless you're a billionaire , I'd find it hard to see a landscape that is any better than sobering to horrifying .

We have to get through it, and I am confident we will. I could do with fewer advertisements and articles suggesting people leave the city. I've don't know if I've ever been to Hackensack but, just like Bobby Short sang , if I ended up there, I'd take the next train back.
