Phasing under Curfew
As always, I hope this email finds you well as we head into, hopefully, the only curfewed weekend of our adult lives and start the phased " reopening " on Monday.

No matter how or when we "reopen" unless there are policies in place to keep us safe while also stimulating the economy and minimizing current economic pain, the pain will become a persistent fact of life. While the city is looking at options to help the economy, the state has even more options. Still, the Federal Government has the most, and without help from the Federal Government, something such as today's encouraging jobs report will be fleeting and compound the crisis we face in the future.
As discussed earlier in the week, the system we see breaking down is a social system; thus, human, and therefore, with a lot of hard work from a lot of people, can be fixed by people. You could start by getting a ballot for our June 23rd primary, but civic participation needs to become a habit passed the pandemic( you’re already reading a community board newsletter). It's not going be easy, but in whatever formal and creative roles I have, I will do my best to bind us to each other.
Anyway, just like the world before COVID and curfews, there is some useful information below the email signature. Stay safe, enjoy the weekend and speak to you Monday.
