2 Phases, 2 Letters, 2 Members of Congress

I hope this email finds you well on this cloudy Thursday. So, we're headed to phase 2 on Monday, so what does that mean?

It means we took a small step out of the woods, and we may eat outside, go to bars and restaurants with outdoor dining, get haircuts, return to offices, engage in retail shopping and have fun at playgrounds. The permanence of this better life is dependent on following safety protocols, such as distancing and masking, that will help keep us on a path towards phase 3 and 4. As I’ve noted, I can’t wait to get a haircut, but if that’s the worst part of my pandemic experience, I’ll consider myself very lucky. Businesses with questions about the process can call the city’s hotline at 1-888-SBS-4NYC.

Lastly, as usual, I’d suggest checking out the items below, including coverage of Gowanus related letters, and enjoy the rest of your day.

Best,
