I hope this email finds you well and, if possible, keeping your cool as we kick-off phase 4 of our “reopening” with a heat advisory . Going from phase 3 to 4 isn’t as noticeable as previous shifts, such as from phase 1 to 2(restaurants and haircuts), and there are no changes to what indoor activities(no gyms or movie theaters) are allowed, but you can find out more here .

Let me briefly remind everyone that our Economic Development Committee meets tonight via zoom, starting at 6:30 PM with an agenda focused on small businesses in our district and where we go from here. 

Also, don’t forget that on Thursday, beginning at 7 PM, we are co-sponsoring a “back to school” town hall with Councilmember Brad Lander. The town hall will feature leadership from the Department of Education, including Deputy Chancellor Adrienne Austin, Executive Superintendent Karen Watts, and District 15 Superintendent Anita Skop.
