I hope this email finds you well as we head into the holiday weekend. I’ll be brief as I’m sure most people, literally or figuratively, want to get going.

But, if you’re sticking around, fireworks are back, but you CAN'T see them from Brooklyn Bridge Park, hot dog eating contests are also back, but vegan ones will also be available. Even better, COVID-19 vaccines are available at plenty of mobile sites where folks will be celebrating, and alternate side parking will be suspended on Sunday and Monday.

Again, if you’re still interested in submitting testimony to the Borough President regarding the Gowanus Rezoning, you can do so via email.
