I hope this email finds you well despite the rain and, paraphrasing Simon & Garfunkel, the Hazy Shade of Summer. 

Due to the poor air quality caused by the haze, take necessary precautions, and please, if you haven't already, get vaccinated against COVID-19 ASAP. Unfortunately, if you dive into the reported statistics, nearly all of the infected people are unvaccinated. But it’s not just the unvaccinated who are threatened by this; it delays an end to the pandemic and increases the likelihood of more, and potentially vaccine resistant, variants arising.

While not vaccine dependent, tomorrow is our joint meeting with CB7 on last-mile warehouses, and it’ll be held over Zoom and begin at 6:30 PM. There’s more going on before and after that, like tonight’s Gowanus Dredgers meeting and next Tuesday’s CB6  Landmarks/Land Use meeting.
