I hope this email finds you well on this gray Tuesday. I'll be brief but would like to focus you on three items.

I hope this email finds you well on this gray Tuesday. I'll be brief but would like to focus you on three items.

First, regular readers may recall an application for a Board of Standards and Appeals (BSA) application we voted down earlier this year at 145 Wolcott Street. It’s on the docket at BSA, and it seems, based on universal opposition from commissioners, they agree with our opposition. As of this email, the review is still going on and can be watched here via YouTube.

Secondly, and sticking with hearings, next week, on Tuesday, October 12th, the City Council will hold a hearing on the Gowanus rezoning. If you’d like to be reminded of our conditional approval, read it here along with the very similar conditions set forth by Borough President Adams.

Third, if you, or someone you know, isn’t registered to vote, you have until Friday to change that, if you want to have a say in who runs the city for the next four years.

On that note, I’ll stop here and suggest you scroll down for information. Whether you listen to my suggestion or not, stay safe and enjoy the rest of your Tuesday.

Best,
Mike Racioppo, District Manager
