I hope this email finds you well during an annoyingly warm Wednesday. On this Wednesday, you may have heard that COVID-19 vaccinations will be required for all city workers. But you may not know that CB6, while a very small agency, an agency nonetheless, is ahead of that mandate with a 100% vaccination rate. Anyway, I'll shift focus to CB6 centric happenings.

In about an hour from now, our Parks & Environmental Protection Committee meets and will hear from the Red Hook Coastal Resiliency Project. Tomorrow, Thursday, October 21st, DOT will present plans for Columbia Street to our Transportation & Public Safety Committee.

Looking to next week, we'll again have two CB6 meetings. First, on Monday, October 25th, Permits & Licences will meet to review two liquor licenses. The application at 390 5th Avenue may be of great interest since multiple community members attended our October board meeting to inquire about it. While the second will be next Thursday, October 28th, when our Landmarks/Land Use Committee will meet to review BSA & LPC-related matters.
