I hope this email finds you well as we kick off the workweek with a citywide flash flood watch in effect from 8 pm until tomorrow at 5 pm. As we saw this summer, such notices should not be taken lightly. Also, citywide, early voting is underway and will continue through Sunday.

Shifting from the citywide to the local, our Permits & Licences Committee meets tonight at 6:30 PM. The agenda features two liquor license applications; at 390 5th Avenue and 552 Court Street. 

There’s a lot of other stuff happening around the community throughout the week, like tomorrow’s Gowanus CAG meeting, a mixer in Red Hook, our Landmarks/Land Use Committee meeting on Thursday, and the Barnicle Parade Friday. Those and other items are listed below my email signature, so I’ll stop here and recommend scrolling down and seeing for yourself.
