A point of interest, especially for those interested in transportation, today is the 117th anniversary of our city's Subway system. As a lifelong F train rider, I hope, with ridership rising, it's around for another 117 years.

A point of interest, especially for those interested in transportation, today is the 117th anniversary of our city's Subway system. As a lifelong F train rider, I hope, with ridership rising, it's around for another 117 years.

Moving on to things taking place when we get off the subway, at stops such as Smith & 9th, Carroll Street, 4th Avenue, Bergen Street, and 7th Avenue. Things like early voting, today’s Red Hook Business pot luck, or Friday’s Metro Card Van at Assemblymember Carroll’s office. However, there are still things happening that couldn’t ever require a metro card, like tomorrow’s CB6 Landmarks/Land Use meeting, which will be held over zoom.

I’ll stop here and suggest you scroll down for other info, but no matter what, stay safe and enjoy the rest of your Wednesday.

Best,
