First, thank you to everyone who attended last night's Economic, Waterfront, Community Development, and Housing(EWCDH) Committee meeting. I'd especially like to thank Senator Jabari Brisport, Assemblymember Mitaynes, and Dan Wiley, who represented Congresswoman Nydia Velasquez. As previewed, the meeting focused on last-mile warehouses, and while I’m sure we’ll have more meetings on this matter, but if you weren’t on the Zoom last night or want to relive it, you can watch it on on our YouTube page.

Secondly, the citywide Covid-19 positivity rate is now 10.2%, with somewhat lower rates in our district but still way higher than we’d ever like it to be. So it’s even more important to get tested, vaccinated, and boosted. Take note that getting boosted isn’t just in the best interest of your health; it’s in your financial interest as you’ll get 100 dollars if you do so at a city-run site.
