Full Board Tomorrow

There are some signs that the “Omicron Wave” of Covid-19 has crested. However, just because the infection stats aren’t breaking records doesn’t mean it’s over or that it’s not straining our healthcare systems.

There are some signs that the “Omicron Wave” of Covid-19 has crested. However, just because the infection stats aren’t breaking records doesn’t mean it’s over or that it’s not straining our healthcare systems. What the numbers do show is that being vaccinated and boosted against Covid-19 makes you far less likely to become very sick if infected and thus not end up in a hospital or a morgue.

Anyway, I'll stop here and suggest you scroll down this email for more information on things like tonight's Red Hook Justice Center Housing workshop, Comptroller Lander's "good cause" town hall, a CEC15 meeting, and more. If you don't read further, I'll still hope for you to stay safe, stay warm, and enjoy the rest of your Tuesday.

Best,
