I hope this email finds you well and enjoying Valentine’s Day, after a weekend that saw non-stick snow and the Super Bowl pandering to people my age.

A lot is going on this week, particularly when it comes to parks. For instance, on Wednesday, February 16th, our Parks & Environmental Protection Committee meets, while on Thursday, Feb 17th, the NYC Parks Department and EPA will hold a meeting to update the community on the Red Hook ballfields and on Saturday, Feb 19th, the Red Hook Conservancy has a scheduled leaf raking.

Of course, there’s other stuff happening that’s unrelated to parks, and lots of it is listed below my contact information. However, whether you read past here or not, stay safe and enjoy the rest of your day.
