I hope this email finds you well and enjoying Cinco De Mayo! Also, my apologies to those Star Wars fans that didn’t appreciate my lack of love for the endless supply of movies, shows, and paraphernalia from a galaxy far, far away.
I hope this email finds you well and enjoying Cinco De Mayo! Also, my apologies to those Star Wars fans that didn’t appreciate my lack of love for the endless supply of movies, shows, and paraphernalia from a galaxy far, far away. Shifting back to our galaxy I’d like to highlight some stuff.
First, the city has launched a college scholarship program for NYC kindergarteners for those with children in Kindergarten. It’s open to each kindergartener in public and participating charter schools in New York City. To find out more, go to: nyckidsrise.org.
Second, keeping a fiscal focus, the debates over New York’s minimum wage continues in our state capital. With costs rising, especially for housing, it’s not surprising that most people support an increase.
On that note, I’d advise you to scroll down to find out more community-related information. But no matter what you choose to do, enjoy the rest of your day.
