I planned to just focus on reminding you that early voting for the State Senate and U.S House of Representatives begins tomorrow, Saturday, August 13th. However, when the Health Department detected Polio in our city’s wastewater, it fell in paragraph placement. 

So, if you aren’t vaccinated against Polio, contact your healthcare provider about changing that asap. Go to nyccare.nyc or call 844-692-4692 if you don’t have a healthcare provider but need to receive the polio vaccine. Also, New York State schools have required the polio vaccine since the mid-1960s, so if you went to school here anytime after, you’re ahead of the game. 

Early voting runs through Sunday, August 21st, with Election Day on Tuesday, August 23rd. To confirm your polling place, when it is open and if you also want to know who is on the ballot, go to vote.nyc.
