While it's not officially fall, indicators, such as pumpkin spice and autumnal imagery, are already here. However, more than any fall "vibes", especially for families with children, it’s definitely not summer.

While it's not officially fall, indicators, such as pumpkin spice and autumnal imagery, are already here. However, more than any fall "vibes", especially for families with children, it’s definitely not summer. That's because, while questions about the budget remain, the New York City 2022-2023 school year starts tomorrow, Thursday, September 9th.

Good luck to everyone going back to school tomorrow. All the best to students, teachers, support staff, principals, and parents! Also, families may want to review the school calendar by going to on.nyc.gov/3TMxOAO.

Another sign of summer's end is the return of CB6 full board meetings on the second Wednesday of the month. That means next Wednesday, September 14, at 6:30 PM, we’ll meet over Zoom. The voting agenda consists of 2 landmark items, but I’m sure they’ll be more to hear. Register for the meeting at bit.ly/BKCB691422.
