Maybe it’s an homage to Groucho Marx, but despite seeing snow yesterday, our snowless streak continues. Regardless, macro and micro civic life continue.

Maybe it’s an homage to Groucho Marx, but despite seeing snow yesterday, our snowless streak continues. Regardless, macro and micro civic life continue.

On the macro side, Mayor Adams gave his second State of the City Address this afternoon. I haven’t watched it yet, but I understand it included plans for citywide composting, office conversions, and other items. On the micro side, we’ve got a Landmarks meeting tonight, and the MTA hosts a Brooklyn Bus town hall. Both meetings are virtual and start at 6:30 PM.

The MTA’s Town Hall will focus on the Brooklyn Bus Redesign in CB6. To register, go to: bit.ly/mtabkbustownhall. At the same time, the CB6 Landmarks committee will review three items- 2 in Park Slope and 1 in Cobble Hill. To register, go to: bit.ly/cb6jan26.

Whether you read the rest of this email or not, stay safe, enjoy the rest of your Thursday, and fill out the fourth street survey today.

Best,
Mike Racioppo, District Manager
