Hoping the rain hasn’t dampened any enthusiasm for the three-day weekend we’re about to start. It’s a three-day weekend because Monday, February 20th, is Presidents Day.

Hoping the rain hasn’t dampened any enthusiasm for the three-day weekend we’re about to start. It’s a three-day weekend because Monday, February 20th, is Presidents Day. 

So, on Monday, there will be no alternate side parking, no mail, and government offices will be closed. However, sanitation service will NOT be suspended, and collections will occur on a normal Monday schedule. In addition, public schools will be closed all week for Winter Recess. 

I’ve listed some items of interest that matter beyond this weekend below. I recommend you check them all out, but I’ll emphasize that Thursday, February 23rd is the last day to apply for membership on your Community Board.
