Hopefully, April’s final week is off to a good start. CB6 started the week off by approving two liquor licenses last night. One was for a Pan Latin spot at 4th Avenue and 11th Street(463 4th Ave), and the other was for Maya Taqueria’s new location on 7th Avenue between 3rd and 4th Street. These applications now move to a vote from our full board on May 10th.
The anticipation for the May 10th meeting is palpable, but there’s plenty to tide us over in the interim. For example, tonight, the Gowanus CAG and CEC15 have meetings. In addition, Councilmember Hanif is hosting a 9th Street meeting tomorrow, and DEP will present plans for the Owls Head CSO to our Landmarks/ Land Use committee on Thursday.
You’ll find additional info of interest by reading the rest of this email. However, there’s no penalty for not reading past this point, have a good night.
