Summer is about to, unofficially, start. But before that, I’ve got two paragraphs, and some listings, for you to check out.

Summer is about to, unofficially, start. But before that, I’ve got two paragraphs, and some listings, for you to check out.

First, our Landmarks/ Land Use Committee met last night. The meeting had three informational land use items and three landmark applications up for a vote. The land use matters were an upcoming rezoning at 341 Tenth Street, waterfront plans for 313 Bond Street, and DCP’s “Carbon Neutrality” text amendment. The landmark applications were for 287 & 304-306 Carroll Street and 169 Congress Street. All three were approved and are now on our June 14th full board agenda

Second, on Memorial Day, Monday, May 29th, Alternate Side Parking, and meters will be suspended, government offices and schools will be closed, and there won’t be any mail. However, if Monday is your collection day, trash and recycling will be picked up normally.

Enjoy the weekend, and know that you may enjoy it more if you read the rest of this email.

Best,
