Hopefully, the first dozen days of 2024 have gone well. One of those dozen days, specifically Wednesday, Jan 10th, included 2024's first full board meeting.

Hopefully, the first dozen days of 2024 have gone well. One of those dozen days, specifically Wednesday, Jan 10th, included 2024's first full board meeting. At the meeting, we approved a liquor license for a pickleball club and gave a conditional “yes” to the City Of Yes. Additionally, we were joined by city, state, and federal government officials who focused on the year ahead and upcoming events. One of those upcoming events is the Red Hook Cruise terminal meeting hosted by Council Member Alexa Aviles this coming Tuesday, January 16th, from 6 to 8 pm at the Miccio Center. 

However, before Tuesday, we’re likely to have a wet weekend, and we’ll observe Martin Luther King Jr’s Birthday on Monday, January 15th. As such, schools, libraries, government offices, the DMV, and courts will be closed, and there will be no alternate side parking, sanitation pickups, or mail service.
