Correlation is not causation, but with rain expected on yet another Saturday, I contemplated not clicking send on this email and seeing what shook out. However, since we're advisory, aside from advising that environmentally conscious policies be implemented, we have no role in the weather, and you can, of course, see that I clicked send. I've got two things to go over.

First, according to extensive research conducted by the Citizens Budget Commission, CB6 is the happiest place in the city, and apparently, by comparison with the present, quality of life was higher when a tall CB6 resident was Mayor. That's an oversimplification of the study, so I recommend reading about it on your own. When reading, you'll see a city experienced differently based on how resources are distributed. Resources such as access to schools, parks, and, most importantly, housing can all be made more accessible with better policy choices. With this in mind, we've made and will continue to support policy, like approving the Gowanus Rezoning and shelters and pushing for park funding.

Secondly, keeping with the theme of taking positions, we'll review liquor licenses this Monday, March 25th, and on Thursday, March 28th, we'll review a rezoning for 150 Mill Street. Both meetings start at 6:30 PM. Monday's meeting will be held at 250 Baltic Street, and Thursday's will be held at Van Alen & Zoom.
