Unfortunately, Heat and Air advisories are in place as summer's first weekend begins. Fortunately, no matter the weather and how active you can or want to be, there's always something going on.

For example, slightly beyond the weekend, we've got two CB6 meetings this week. First, on Monday, June 24th, starting at 6:30 PM, our CB6 Permits and Licenses committee meets at 250 Baltic Street to review two liquor license applications. One applicant is for 550 Court, and the other is for 339 2nd Street. Then, on Thursday, June 27th, at 6:30 PM at Van Alen & Zoom, DOT will present plans for a Flatbush Avenue Bus Lane to our CB6 Transportation & Public Safety committee.

Other things will happen before, after, and beyond those meetings. These "other things" include the ongoing primary election, a good cause eviction event, a parks day, immersive tours, bike races, movies, music, and more.

Reading the rest of this email will give you a sense of what "more" means, but I wish you the best, no matter what you read.

Best,
Mike Racioppo, District Manager
