Queens is home to about 2.4 million people across 14 community districts, covering the broadest range of neighborhood types in the city. It runs from the waterfront and transit hubs of the west through dense immigrant neighborhoods and lower-density eastern Queens out to the Rockaway peninsula.
What gets me about Queens is how different it can be depending on where you are. You've got QN CB14, the Rockaways — which in my opinion has the best logo of any community board. You've got the diversity and food of Jackson Heights in QN CB4. And you've got the US Open, which sits across CB3, CB4, CB6, and CB7. It's hard to sum up a place that changes that much block to block.
