Crime and arrests are placed by the coordinates on each record. Parking tickets are placed by matching the published street address against the City’s own street base map, exactly, with the harvest reconciled row-for-row against the City’s totals for all eight fiscal years. Camera violations are placed at the camera’s intersection where the City names it, and spread fractionally along the corridor, by street length in each district, where the City’s 20-character field cut the cross street off. Nothing is approximated from precinct sums. Citywide figures are complete counts; district figures state their unplaced remainder.
