About This District
The Bronx Community District 9 The Bronx Community District 9 encompasses Bronx River, Bruckner, Castle Hill, Clason Point, Harding Park, Parkchester, Soundview, and Unionport. Covering 4.79 square miles and home to more than 170,000 residents, it covers a large section of the East Bronx.
Soundview, Parkchester, Castle Hill, Clason Point, Harding Park, Unionport, Bruckner, and Bronx River give the district a mix of large housing complexes, waterfront communities, highways, commercial corridors, and open space.
