Demographics
In 2023, Financial District was the city’s 26th largest neighborhood by population out of 59 neighborhoods. Among the 59 districts, it has the 55th largest proportion of nonwhite population, the highest median income, and the most expensive rents. From 2010 to 2024, the district added 4,596 new housing units, 4,171 units of which were market rate and 425 units of which were income restricted.
