MN CB5 ranks 45th in population among NYC’s 59 community board districts. Among the 59 districts, it has the 46th largest proportion of nonwhite population, the 9th highest median income, and the 8th most expensive rents. From 2010 to 2024, the district added 6,100 new housing units, 5,520 units of which were market rate and 566 units of which were income restricted.
