Manhattan Community District 5 encompasses Midtown, Times Square, Herald Square, Midtown South, Flatiron District, part of Murray Hill, part of Chelsea, part of Gramercy, and Union Square. Covering 1.6 square miles and home to roughly 51,000 residents, it is the city's central business district in community-board form.

MNCB5 — Cuomo won this CB district 42.7% to 54.0% for Cuomo and 3.3% for Sliwa, and carried 28 of 37 election districts here.
