About This District

Manhattan Community District 6

Manhattan Community District 6 encompasses part of Murray Hill, Sutton Place, Beekman Place, Turtle Bay, Tudor City, part of Gramercy, Kips Bay, Peter Cooper Village, Stuyvesant Park, and Stuyvesant Town. Covering 1.5 square miles and home to more than 150,000 residents, it covers the east side of Midtown and the blocks running south toward Gramercy and Kips Bay.

It includes major hospitals, the United Nations, apartment towers, older residential blocks, and heavily traveled avenues.
