About This District

Queens Community District 10

Queens Community District 10 encompasses Howard Beach, South Ozone Park, and Ozone Park. Covering 6.8 square miles and home to more than 120,000 residents, it sits in southern Queens near Jamaica Bay and JFK Airport.

The district includes residential neighborhoods, coastal areas, airport-related traffic, commercial corridors, and major highways. Its geography makes flooding, transportation, infrastructure, public safety, and quality of life constant concerns, especially where local streets carry regional traffic.
