About This District
Queens Community District 12 Queens Community District 12 encompasses Jamaica, South Jamaica, Hollis, and St. Albans. Covering 9.6 square miles and home to more than 250,000 residents, it is one of the city's largest community districts by population.
Jamaica, South Jamaica, Hollis, and St. Albans include major transit hubs, commercial corridors, residential blocks, institutions, public housing, and large civic assets. The district is a center for southeast Queens.
