As we head into a snowy weekend and celebrate the light that was Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., let's recall the great impact and unfinished work of his life that sadly was violently cut short at only 39 years of age.
As we head into a snowy weekend and celebrate the light that was Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., let's recall the great impact and unfinished work of his life that sadly was violently cut short at only 39 years of age. That deep sickness, unfortunately, hasn’t been eradicated from our body politic.
Below I’ve listed a few of the usual updates and some info along with some suggestions for Monday.
1- Events for Martin Luther King Jr day ranging from tributes to options for service.
2 - Coverage of next Wednesday’s Civic Engagement forum.
3- There will be no trash, recycling, or organics collections on Monday January 21st. Residents who normally receive Monday trash or organics collection should place materials curbside after 4 p.m. on Mon, Jan 21.
Lastly, I will keep everyone posted on anything I receive as far as the anticipated snow storm.
