As has been noted, and supported , electric car charging stations are coming to the district . There will be 3 stations, and over the next few weeks The Department of Transportation (DOT ) will be studying the following locations:

As has been noted, and supported , electric car charging stations are coming to the district . There will be 3 stations, and over the next few weeks The Department of Transportation (DOT ) will be studying the following locations:

- 13th Street from 5th to 6th Avenue

- 3rd Street from 4th to 5th Avenue

- 7th Street from 7th Avenue to 8th Avenue

- Prospect Park West from 10 to 11th Street

- Prospect Park West 5th to 6th Street

A very common question is "how many parking spaces will each station take?" The answer is each charger will take a maximum of 2 spots for a total "loss" of 6 across our district .
