So, if you want to continue experiencing the adrenaline rush that comes with civic participation, you can check out the events below, starting with things happening this chilly evening of Wednesday, November 6 th .

So, tonight, beginning at 6:30 pm, The Saint John’s Place Community Association will be meeting at the  Saint John’s Church  to discuss the water main replacement project that has caused   plenty of unintended problems in the North Slope . Also tonight, 7:30 PM,  76 th  Precinct’s Community Council , chaired by our very Jerry Armer, will meet at the Precinct station house,  191 Union Street (Between Hicks & Henry Streets) .

Tomorrow, Thursday, November 7 th , the  Gowanus Canal Conservancy  will host its annual meeting at  501 Union Street  while the  Park Slope Civic Council  will meet at the  Old Stone House .

Looking ahead to a bit to the weekend, if you’ve got some pumpkins that need smashing bring them by the Carroll Gardens Greenmarket this Sunday , November 10th and Monday, November 1th which is, of course, Veterans Day, there will be an event honoring our military veterans in Carroll Park. Please note that Alternate Side Parking will also be suspended on Veterans Day, and don’t forget that our November full board meeting is one week from tonight at M.S 51 .
