I hope this email finds you as well on this cloudy and unseasonably cold, Wednesday that seems to fit the times.

While we continue to slow the spread of COVID-19, the economy shrinks at an accelerating pace . I don’t say that to be pessimistic; I say it as I remain optimistic. Not just because there is some hope about a new treatment , but by understanding the full scope and impact of this crisis, we as a community can implement necessary policies to get through it with less heartbreak then we foresaw.

Policy discussions will certainly be on the docket a week from today during our 2 nd "Community Check-in" but also tomorrow morning at Assemblymember Simons “Java w/ Jo Anne” and tomorrow evening during Senator Kavanagh’s Town Hall .
