There is one month left in spring, and a month and 2 days until the June 23 rd election. I love voting and reminding people to vote, so here’s another reminder to click this link so you can vote by mail and here to find out what will be on your ballot. I’d recommend doing this ASAP as the city’s Board of Elections Board of Election is not known for its speed or even envelope supply.  

While some of the numbers regarding COVID-19 move in the right direction, we still have to stay safe and at a distance with our faces covered. I understand not wanting to do this, but just because we want something to be over, unfortunately, that doesn’t mean it is over. I’d recommend looking at the waves and infection spikes that occurred from 1918 until 1920 to gain some context for what’s happening right now .  This isn't negativity I’m highlighting it so take our best shot at a safe and sustainable recovery. To reinforce my positive altitude, get some (non-bleach) based hope here . 

In the more immediate future, Alternate Side Parking regulations are back in effect tomorrow, and in a bit later on today, Congresswoman Clarke will be hosting a virtual town hall for small businesses and nonprofits. Speaking of virtual events, you can register here for our June 17th “Check-in.”
