As the week teeters on hump-day, a fitness enthusiast backs off development and trolleys due to cost issues. He’s also revealed a roadmap to keep the homeless out of sight and likely out of mind. The resurgence of a tale of two cities now playing out might seem priceless if it wasn’t for the over 135k raised in this successful NIMBY effort.

Closer to home, the CB6 landmarks/ land use committee has a virtual meeting. It starts at 6 pm; you register for it here, and it will feature, along with two landmark items, a presentation from Gowanus Lands on a park proposal to replace the current proposal for affordable housing, a park, and a school for the city-owned site commonly referred to as “public place.” 

But before that meeting, and while that’s happening, there are some exciting things that you can find out about below my email signature. Of course, being able to check them out and doing so are different things, but either way, enjoy the rest of the day and stay safe.
